FZ joins forces with The Right Place, The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center–West, and DISHER to launch new Industry 4.0 transformation team
GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. (April 15, 2021) – Feyen Zylstra, The Right Place, The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center–West, and DISHER recently announced the formation of a new Preferred Smart Manufacturing Partnership program for West Michigan manufacturers. The Preferred Smart Manufacturing Partnership program is designed to guide manufacturers through their digital transformation journey, providing clarity around Industry 4.0 business value, technologies, and solutions. Using a systematic approach, the program provides clarity around a manufacturer’s current state, desired future state, and the steps needed to bridge the gap.
“While Industry 4.0 and IIoT are widely accepted concepts on the plant floor, many manufacturers have yet to understand and harness the benefits and competitive advantage that they provide. By partnering with the Right Place and The Center-West on the Preferred Smart Manufacturing Partner Program, we've accelerated access to digital transformation and smart manufacturing technologies for manufacturers across West Michigan,” said Ryan Cahalane, President of Industrial Technology, Feyen Zylstra.
The program combines the partner's experience and expertise around manufacturing operational excellence, engineering know-how, and advanced manufacturing technology integration to excel manufacturers' efficiency, productivity, and competitive edge. Already, FZ and The Center-West have provided seamless Industry 4.0 consultation and implementation services for West Michigan manufacturers, specifically at Nu-Wool.
“In the future, West Michigan manufacturers need to be stronger and profitable, while navigating the dynamics of the changing, global economy,” says Justine Burdette, Regional Director, The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center – West and the Vice President, Technical Services at The Right Place. “The Preferred Smart Manufacturing Partnership program will help them address these challenges by harnessing the power of Industry 4.0 in a simple and actionable way.”
By engaging with the Preferred Smart Manufacturing Program, and using the free Industry 4.0 Assessment, a manufacturer will be able to:
- Understand their current state
- Understand the steps needed to sustainably introduce Industry 4.0 technologies to their best benefit
- See a potential Return on Investment this transformational change can provide
- Develop a timeline for the implementation of the best served technologies for their business.
