Feyen Zylstra Announces Corporate Leadership Promotions
(GRAND RAPIDS, MI) - Grand Rapids-based electrical solutions and industrial technology firm Feyen Zylstra (FZ), is pleased to announce the following promotions within its corporate leadership.
E.B. Sonheim, has been promoted to Director of Marketing. Sonheim previously held the position of Marketing Manager and has been with FZ for nearly seven years. In her new role as Director of Marketing, Sonheim will provide leadership, vision and strategy for all of FZ’ marketing efforts.
“E.B. is largely responsible for the growth of Feyen Zylstra’s brand, both in our home state of Michigan, and nationally,” said Nate Koetje, CEO. “This new opportunity both validates the great work she has done, and gives her the platform to take her career and FZ to the next level.”
Kevin VanDyke has been promoted to Director of Engineering and Virtual Design. VanDyke previously held the position of Engineering Manager. He has diverse expertise within electrical engineering, as well as technical expertise in construction technology. As Director of Engineering and Design, VanDyke will direct all engineering, virtual design and prefabrication processes for FZ, nationwide. In addition, he will provide leadership to FZ’s Electrical Engineering and Virtual Design teams.

Randy Lail has been promoted to Vice President of Field Operations. Lail previously held the position of Vice President of Sales and Operations. He has more than 30 years of experience in the electrical industry and will be responsible for leading and growing FZ’ Field Operations team.
“Our talent in the field is pivotal to the success of the company as a whole,” noted Wildfong. “Randy has years of experience working his way up from the field as an electrician and has a real passion for systems and processes, productivity and culture. We’re excited to see where Randy and the Field Operations Team will take FZ in the future.”
