Streamline your warehouse operations with a simple, but robust, system.
What is a Pick to Light System?
Pick to Light (P2L) is a light-directed system used for order fulfillment. The system uses light technology to direct workers on how to complete a task such as picking, putting, sorting, or assembling items. The light signifies the correct parts, quantities, and sequential steps needed to fulfill an order and alerts the operator if an error occurs. This improves order accuracy, lowers labor costs, increases operator efficiency, and maintains inventory accuracy.
Benefits of Pick to Light
Thinking about upgrading your existing P2L system or building a new system from the ground up? Our team is here to help.
The FZ Difference
Powerful:
Our team can provide bi-directional, real-time data sharing between your P2L and ERP systems. This provides better inventory management, a reduction of raw materials, and an error-proofed system—translating into saved costs for you.
Adaptable:
We build flexible systems that can be easily changed after implementation. While a traditional pick to light system is generally hard-lined and is not easily adaptable, our systems can be easily modified to accommodate for improvements. Our customers can quickly change out part bins or locations to further increase efficiency after the system is developed.
Flexible:
We don't have a cap on the number of kits that we can coordinate and run within our systems so you're not limited to a specific amount. We can use whichever kit, output devices, and lights that work best within your facility.
