Confidential Aerospace Customer Stall 10 Project
Feyen Zylstra partnered with HITT Contracting to provide a new stall for the customers’s flightline, covering 5,000 square feet in the manufacturing sector. The project involved providing a feeder to the stall from a new substation, installing a new static ground ring for the stall and aircraft, and setting up a new 400Hz converter along with site lighting and stall lighting.
Despite challenges such as long lead times and hurricane season, FZ managed to complete the project within budget and on schedule. One significant hurdle was installing new feeders to the stall, which required digging below existing duct banks and ensuring the safest way to shore them without causing damage. Prefabrication played a crucial role in saving time and space onsite, with boxed assemblies and stub conduit for low voltage systems.
Additionally, FZ’s AVl team installed a Daktronics Galaxy Outdoor digital display, enabling our customer to remotely update the stall’s occupant and status ensuring comprehensive support for all of their current and future needs.
