As one of the largest manufacturers of paperboard and paper-based products, Graphic Packaging International provides innovative packaging solutions for their customers worldwide. For years, Feyen Zylstra has served as Graphic Packaging's in-house data partner, providing preventative maintenance, network cabling, and fiber installation solutions for their facilities.

FZ provided process control and network cabling for Graphic Packaging's paper processing plant. This included pulling, terminating, and testing specialty fiber, cat 6, and other wiring for multiple machines and systems within the processing plant. Owing to the industrial nature of the space, the cabling was 600v rated, armored, PVC coated, and enclosed in order to protect it from corrosion and other environmental factors.

Owing to nationwide material shortages, it became clear at project kickoff that the required cable was backordered and required a significant lead time that comprised the project schedule. By leveraging FZ's national footprint and vendor relationships, we were able to secure cabling in South Carolina and have it shipped to the jobsite just-in-time, helping avoid costly project delays.

Our team also provided the voice data infrastructure for their administrative and operation towers.
