Hope College Peale Science Center
Electrical and Communication Infrastructure Solutions
Feyen Zylstra installed the electrical systems and communications infrastructure at Hope College’s Peale Science Center. The project involved the construction of a new 85,900 square foot building as well as the renovation of an existing 72,800 square foot building. During the preplanning phase of the project, FZ’s value engineering ideas saved money by bringing the project estimate under budget.
Throughout the project, FZ’s Project Control System allowed stringent productivity goals to be met. Our team designed the data infrastructure with Category six cable throughout the building and fiber optic cable between closets. Because Hope College utilized both our electrical construction and systems solutions, efficiency, and client convenience were significantly increased.
